
As reported by Swedish authorities on Friday, the Swedish Prosecutor's Office is investigating the damage to a new underwater cable in the Baltic Sea leading from the island of Gotland.
Currently, the details of the incident are not being disclosed, and investigators are calculating the circumstances of the incident. The border service reported that operational work is being conducted in tandem with representatives of other services to determine the reasons for the damage to the cable.
"We cannot provide much information as the investigation is still ongoing," said a representative of the border service.
