Volvo Launches the Updated XC90 T8 Recharge

Volvo maintains its commitment to electrification by offering the XC90 plug-in hybrid alongside its range of fully electric models. This vehicle features air suspension that adjusts the height according to road conditions, ensuring a smooth and stable drive, ideal for various terrains. The combination of systems allows for permanent all-wheel drive, which is useful in adverse situations.

Regarding design, the XC90 has undergone an update that aligns it with the visual identity of Volvo's new electric models. Notable are the new optical groups that include the iconic lighting with the shape of Thor's hammer and a revamped grille. However, the most significant transformation is found in the interior of the vehicle.

Volvo highlights that approximately half of the kilometers traveled by its plug-in hybrids are in electric mode, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability. The XC90 T8 combines an electric motor with a gasoline one to achieve a total range of over 800 kilometers, allowing customers to choose between a hybrid SUV with great range or a pure electric vehicle based on their needs and the availability of charging infrastructure in their area.

The 2025 XC90 will be available soon in the market, with an estimated price around 2 million pesos. This model includes an enhanced infotainment system, featuring a larger touchscreen, wireless updates, and compatibility with new applications. Additionally, Volvo highlights the vehicle's safety, as well as updates to the propulsion system, comfort improvements, and a modernized interior, solidifying the 2025 XC90 as an attractive option in the premium segment.

The Volvo XC90 T8 Recharge offers an electric range of over 70 kilometers, perfect for daily emissions-free commuting. This model incorporates an advanced driver assistance system that includes collision detection, trajectory correction, and an improved safety structure. Furthermore, Volvo has enhanced the comfort of the XC90 with ergonomic seats, revised suspension, and increased soundproofing, combining technology, design, and sustainability in a single automobile. The cabin has been updated with a more stylish and practical design, inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics.
