A Powerful Narrative through Photography

During a recent participation in the international photo festival "Exposer 2025", photojournalist Ismail Abdulkari shared his vision of photography as an art form for conveying stories and emotions. He emphasized that photography is not just visual documentation but also a connection between the artist and reality.

During the session, Abdulkari presented some of his signature works, including a shot of two pairs skating on the ice in Sweden: one of which is blind and being guided by the other by the hand. He noted that this scene illustrates the unwavering wave of friendship, overcoming the boundaries of disability.

At the conclusion of the event, Abdulkari expressed his recognition of the festival "Exposer" as a global platform, supporting the power of image in conveying truth and fostering dialogue. He highlighted the importance of the festival's role in supporting photographs that enable artists to present their work to an audience from all over the world.

Ismail Abdulkari, who has been living in Sweden for 11 years, stated that his more than a quarter-century experience convinces him that photography, which evokes emotions and promotes awareness, has the greatest influence and is remembered as a transmission of profound human stories.
