On Thursday, the Swedish government committed to allocating an additional 1.2 billion dollars for military assistance to Ukraine. This decision was made in connection with the deteriorating situation in eastern Ukraine.
The Prime Minister of Sweden noted that such a step is necessary to ensure the security of Ukraine and the region as a whole. He emphasized that the aid will be directed towards the renewal of military equipment and ensuring the necessary resources for the Ukrainian armed forces.
"Our support for Ukraine continues, as maintaining peace and stability in the region is a key priority for Sweden," the Prime Minister emphasized.
