Five people were charged by the Swedish court in connection with the murder of Iraqi refugee Sulaiman Momika. The decision on the release was made after the interrogations conducted by the investigators in relation to this criminal case. As the prosecutor stated, the evidence was insufficient to prolong the arrest.

"We cannot proceed further in our investigation without additional information, therefore we are obliged to release the suspects due to lack of evidence," - prosecutor.

This incident occurred in 2021, when Sulaiman Momika was removed from a bus and attacked in the center of Malmo. The attackers called for emergency assistance for the man, but his life could not be saved. Since then, the Swedish police have been conducting a large-scale investigation.
