On Monday, prosecutors in Sweden announced that the country has released the vessel, suspected in the pollution. "We can confirm that the vessel, which was detained earlier, is no longer considered a suspect," says the prosecutor's statement. It is noted that the vessel was detained as a result of an investigation following reports of pollution with contaminated marine environment. After conducting additional checks and analyzing the data, the authorities made a decision to release the vessel, as no sufficient evidence of its involvement in the pollution was found.
